About this publication

The Short Peptide is a publication. It is not a shop, not a clinic, and not a learning-management system. The site exists so a reader can open one organ, then open a cited study. That is the whole product.

Written for a single organ

The work we file belongs to a specific lineage: organ-specific short peptide bioregulators associated with Vladimir Khavinson and colleagues at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology. These are short amino-acid chains — often two to four residues — designed after tissue extracts of a named organ. The claim of that lineage, which this publication reports and does not certify, is that a peptide written for one tissue should be read in the context of that tissue.

We do not mix that frame with the broader peptide marketplace. Compounds such as BPC-157, TB-500, KPV, and GLP-1 agonists have their own literature. They are not this library. If a paper is not about a Khavinson organ-specific short peptide, it does not belong here.

Citation first

Every public study page carries a PubMed identifier. Visitors follow that PMID to PubMed. We do not host publisher PDFs on this site. A paper held as a file is source material for an editor, not a download for a reader. If a study cannot be named with digits-only PMID, it does not ship on a public page. The build is designed to fail when frontmatter is wrong; that is intentional.

Summaries on this site are editorial. They are not abstracts reprinted from the publisher, not treatment advice, and not product claims. When a paper is small, old, or from a single laboratory, we say so. Read the primary communication before you repeat a finding.
